24-Hour Emergency Electricians in Fort Worthnice guy... but for $604 charge he left empty ceiling fan box on bedroom floor. well, ok. however, when I went out my front door -- he left the old ceiling fan (that he said he'd dispose of!) out in the street in front of my neighbor's house!! c'mon... do better!!
The name of the technician doesn't matter, because it seems to me like the culture I don't know if it's all electricians or just the ones that work here...But he realized the job was undoable and just sat in his van for 2 hours just to say he wasn't going to do it when he said that in the first 30 minutes he was here why did you stick around another hour and a half?..and by the time you left it was too late to call anyone else that day.. fine and dandy only problem is I had been without power over 48 hours at point
Customer service was very good. Tech found and repaired in timely fashion. I will use them next time I need electrical.
Price gauging parts….. quick and responsive service but tried to charge me $450+ for a single breaker that costs $70-80. I understand they have to make money as a business but an 5x price increase on a simple part is a little ridiculous.
I had an outlet installed on my back porch for a backup generator, and had an electrical line run from the outlet to an interlock kit on my circuit breaker. Little did I know, the technician ran the electrical line directly over the exhaust to my gas fireplace. Thankfully, I happened to be up in the attic and noticed it before I began running my fireplace for the winter. This exhaust gets hot enough where you can't touch it for more than a second when the fireplace has been on for as little as 15 minutes. If I hadn't noticed it, the insulation on the electrical line could have melted (or worse), and God knows what would have happened the first time I fired up the generator... I'm leaving two stars because they did fix the issue when I brought it to their attention (after emailing them twice), and their techs were otherwise very pleasant.
Way too expensive. The guy that came out was nice/courteous, but the work he did didn't justify the almost $500 bill. All he did was remove a wire. Then took that wire, removed the copper line and used it to put in our outlet that he was going to change out (he used the same outlet). So I basically paid almost $500 to cut a wire, and truthfully, I could've done that. When asked if I could pay less since the amount of work was minimal and reused the parts, he said no due to your "tiers" of billing method. No knock on the guy who came out, he was very nice. But your business model is unsustainable if you want returning customers. I want to pay for the work that was done, not have to pay based off a "tier". That was a $200 job, tops. I will not be one of those returning customers unfortunately. EDIT from your response: he literally reused the same wire and outlet that was in my wall that had water damage done to it. For the price you charged me, you couldn't have used all new parts at least? THAT part I did not sign up for.
They did a great job on my project, but are WAY over priced.
rick my electrician did a great job. everything was done good and correctly. but the pricing is the concern i have as i got the same work done last year for $300, this year it was $400. i understand inflation but its only up 2.5 percent which doesnt equal to $150 more. i’m
I get that it happens, but it’s always frustrating to schedule service in advance to then have them cancel on you at the last minute; in that time I could have found someone else to do the work.
They quoted $240 plus fees that ran it up to $350 for a single for wire light installation which already had a functioning junction box in great shape and the switch was already installed. I considered having them add a switch but that was before I begin to see the pricing. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a price that high for that simple of an installation so just be aware. I would not advise dispatching them unless you simply aren’t worried at all about budget and just want someone who’s qualified. Be aware that the business model of this company assures that the person you set up the appointment with is not qualified to give any information but primarily to be courteous and prompt in dispatching. This is so you will not know the pricing upfront. Most electricians I deal with will give you a ballpark unless they run into something that will at least let you know whether you want to use them. Mr. electric chooses to keep that from the customer until the dispatch happens in the two electricians show up. When they show up you have already paid 39.95. I absolutely would never use this company again simply because there’s no way to even have a clue what the job would cost. I’m sure the 39.95 is not a bad estimate fee, but it just didn’t work for me to have the guys on site about five minutes and pay $40 for it when their fee was way out of my ballpark and out of what I paid in the past not even close
